Description

Air Fryer Stuffed Pickles

Ingredients

For the pickles:

  • 6 large dill pickles

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning

  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the coating:

  • 1/2 to 1 cup panko breadcrumbs or seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare pickles
Cut each dill pickle in half lengthwise. Using a small spoon, carefully scoop out the seeds and inner flesh to create a hollow center for stuffing. Pat each pickle half dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Step 2: Make filling
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Step 3: Stuff pickles
Spoon the cream cheese mixture generously into each hollowed-out pickle half, filling them completely.

Step 4: Add coating
Mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter until evenly coated. Roll each stuffed pickle in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to help it adhere.

Step 5: Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Place stuffed pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. Cook for 8-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6: Serve
Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
