Description

👽 Alien Beam Shots

Lime, green melon, and a pop of glow syrup — otherworldly flavor, unreal color.

🛸 Ingredients (makes 10–12 shots):

  • 1/2 cup Midori (melon liqueur)

  • 1/4 cup lime vodka or citrus vodka

  • 1/4 cup tonic water (for glow effect)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp glow syrup (see below)

  • Neon green or yellow food coloring (optional, for extra pop)

  • 1/2 tsp edible glitter or shimmer dust (optional, for alien sparkle)

🌟 Glow Syrup (Optional but epic):

Mix 1 part tonic water + 1 part sugar and simmer until slightly thick. Cool and use as your glow syrup — it glows blue-white under blacklight thanks to quinine in the tonic.

🛸 Optional Rim:

  • Light corn syrup or lime wedge (to moisten rim)

  • Neon green sugar or edible glitter sugar

🧪 Instructions:

  1. Rim the Glasses:
Dip shot glass rims in glow syrup or lime juice, then into neon sugar. Let dry.

  2. Shake the Beam:
In a shaker with ice, combine:

    • Midori

    • Lime vodka

    • Tonic water

    • Lime juice

    • Glow syrup

    • Food coloring + shimmer (if using)

  3. Shake until icy cold and glowing.

  4. Strain into rimmed shot glasses and serve under blacklight.

👾 Vibe Check:

  • Tastes like alien candy with a citrus edge

  • Electric green glow that lights up the room

  • Perfect for rave nights, UFO-themed parties, or glow-in-the-dark drink flights
