Bacon Cheese Fries with Ranch Sauce 🥓🍟🧀✨
Ingredients
For the fries:

1 bag frozen French fries (or homemade fries, ~1½ lbs potatoes)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt & pepper, to taste
For the toppings:

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheddar-jack blend)
-
½ cup mozzarella cheese (optional, for stretchiness)
-
6 slices crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
For the ranch sauce:
-
½ cup mayonnaise
-
¼ cup sour cream
-
¼ cup buttermilk (or milk, for thinner consistency)
-
1 garlic clove, minced
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions

Cook the fries:

Bake or fry French fries until golden and crispy.

Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Make the ranch sauce:
-
In a bowl, whisk mayo, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic, parsley, dill, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

Assemble the fries:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place cooked fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella evenly over fries.

Add crumbled bacon on top.

Bake:

Bake for 5–7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finish & serve:

Drizzle ranch sauce over hot cheesy bacon fries.

Garnish with green onions.

Serve immediately with extra ranch on the side for dipping.
