🌊 Bahama Burst Shots

Blue curaçao and coconut cream explosion in a tropical shot that looks like an island wave in a glass.

🧪 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):

Shot Base:

  • 1/4 cup Blue Curaçao (chilled)

  • 1/4 cup Coconut Cream (thick and cold)

  • 1/4 cup Pineapple Juice (for a tropical twist)

  • 1 oz White Rum (optional, for extra kick)

Glow & Burst Add-ins (Optional):

  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice (for a citrus burst)

  • 1/4 tsp Edible Blue Glitter or Shimmer Dust (for the “burst” effect)

  • Dash of UV tonic water (if you want to make it glow under blacklight)

Topping Ideas (Optional but fun):

  • Whipped cream swirl

  • Shredded coconut or toasted coconut rim

  • Tiny umbrella or pineapple wedge for decoration

🧉 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Coconut Cream Base:

    • In a shaker, combine the coconut cream and pineapple juice. Shake or stir well until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add Color & Flavor:

    • Add the blue curaçao, white rum, and lime juice to the shaker. Shake again until the mixture is fully combined and frothy.

  3. Add Shimmer:

    • Stir in the edible glitter for a magical, swirling blue effect. If you want a glow effect, add a splash of tonic water.

  4. Chill & Serve:

    • Pour into shot glasses and chill in the fridge or freezer for 10–15 minutes.

  5. Garnish (Optional):

    • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of shredded coconut for a tropical vibe.

🌟 Tips for Maximum Burst:

  • Serve with glowing ice cubes or under a blacklight for a UV shimmer show.

  • Add a drop of blue food coloring for a deeper ocean hue if your curaçao is light.

  • For a thicker, creamier texture, blend with ice for a frozen shot version.
