Banana Daiquiri Cocktail

  • Author: Stephanie

Description

🍌 Banana Daiquiri Cocktail

Smooth, tropical, and irresistibly creamy—with real banana and a splash of rum.
Perfect for beach vibes, pool parties, or anytime you’re craving a sweet frozen escape.

📝 Ingredients (1 large or 2 small servings):

  • 2 oz white rum (like Bacardi or Havana Club)

  • 1 ripe banana (the riper, the sweeter and more flavorful)

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice (for that citrusy balance)

  • 1 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 cup crushed ice

  • Whipped cream (for topping, optional but dreamy)

  • Garnish: banana slice & maraschino cherry 🍒

🍹 Instructions:

1. Prepare the Blender

Add to your blender:

  • Ripe banana (peeled and broken into chunks)

  • White rum

  • Fresh lime juice

  • Simple syrup

  • Crushed ice

Blend until smooth and creamy. The texture should be thick and icy, like a tropical smoothie with a kick.

2. Taste Test

Give it a quick taste—if you’d like it sweeter, add a bit more syrup. If it’s too thick, add a splash of water, pineapple juice, or coconut water to loosen it up.

3. Serve

Pour the frozen daiquiri into a chilled hurricane or daiquiri glass. Swirl a bit of whipped cream on top for a rich finish.

4. Garnish

Top with a banana slice on the rim and a maraschino cherry. Add a straw and maybe a mini cocktail umbrella for those classic tiki vibes.

🍌 Variations & Tips:

  • Creamy Twist: Add 1 oz of coconut cream or vanilla yogurt for a tropical milkshake feel.

  • Stronger Kick: Add an extra ½ oz of dark rum on top as a floater.

  • Mocktail Version: Replace rum with coconut water or banana nectar for a non-alcoholic treat.

  • Frozen Banana Bonus: Freeze your banana ahead of time for an even frostier texture.
