Cherry liqueur dripping down a sugar rim—a sweet, sinister shot with a bite.
🧪 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):
For the Shot:

1 oz cherry liqueur (like Heering or DeKuyper)

1 oz vodka (plain or black cherry flavored)

1 oz lemon juice (fresh for brightness)

1/2 oz grenadine (deep red and sweet)

Ice (for shaking)
For the Bloody Rim:

1/4 cup corn syrup
-
Red food coloring
-
Coarse sugar (clear or red)
Optional Add-Ins:

Black sugar for contrast
-
Edible glitter (deep red or silver)

Gummy heart, eyeball, or cherry for garnish
🩸 Instructions:
1. Make the Bloody Rim:

In a small bowl, mix corn syrup with a few drops of red food coloring until it’s thick and bloodlike.

Dip the rim of each shot glass into the bloody syrup and then into coarse sugar.

Let the syrup drip slightly down the sides for a “bloodbath” effect.

Chill glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to set.
2. Mix the Shot:

In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine:

Cherry liqueur

Vodka
-
Lemon juice
-
Grenadine
-

Shake vigorously until well chilled.
3. Pour and Serve:

Strain into the prepared shot glasses.

Optionally garnish with a small gummy cherry, eyeball, or heart on a cocktail pick for gory effect.
