Description

🩸 Bloodbath Shots 🩸

Cherry liqueur dripping down a sugar rim—a sweet, sinister shot with a bite.

🧪 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):

For the Shot:

  • 1 oz cherry liqueur (like Heering or DeKuyper)

  • 1 oz vodka (plain or black cherry flavored)

  • 1 oz lemon juice (fresh for brightness)

  • 1/2 oz grenadine (deep red and sweet)

  • Ice (for shaking)

For the Bloody Rim:

  • 1/4 cup corn syrup

  • Red food coloring

  • Coarse sugar (clear or red)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Black sugar for contrast

  • Edible glitter (deep red or silver)

  • Gummy heart, eyeball, or cherry for garnish

🩸 Instructions:

1. Make the Bloody Rim:

  • In a small bowl, mix corn syrup with a few drops of red food coloring until it’s thick and bloodlike.

  • Dip the rim of each shot glass into the bloody syrup and then into coarse sugar.

  • Let the syrup drip slightly down the sides for a “bloodbath” effect.

  • Chill glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to set.

2. Mix the Shot:

  • In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine:

    • Cherry liqueur

    • Vodka

    • Lemon juice

    • Grenadine

  • Shake vigorously until well chilled.

3. Pour and Serve:

  • Strain into the prepared shot glasses.

  • Optionally garnish with a small gummy cherry, eyeball, or heart on a cocktail pick for gory effect.
