🩸 Bloody Glitter Shots

Flavor: Sweet, bold red fruit with a touch of citrus
Look: Deep red with floating edible glitter and a thick “bloody” drizzle
Vibe: Vampy, dramatic, and party-perfect

🥃 Ingredients (makes ~6 shots):

  • 1 oz cherry vodka (or plain vodka + cherry syrup)

  • 1 oz strawberry liqueur (or grenadine for non-alcoholic)

  • 1 oz red fruit punch or cranberry juice (for depth)

  • 1 oz thick red sugar syrup (see quick recipe below)

  • 1/4 tsp edible red or silver glitter

  • Optional: Drop of red gel food coloring for extra richness

  • Optional: Red sanding sugar for the rim


🍓 Quick Bloody Sugar Syrup:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup water

  • Red food coloring

  • 1 tsp corn syrup (optional for thicker texture)

Instructions:
Simmer sugar and water until fully dissolved and slightly thickened. Add food coloring and corn syrup. Cool before using.


🔧 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glasses:
    Rim with lemon juice and red sanding sugar (optional). Drip a bit of the bloody sugar syrup inside the glass and let it slowly run down the sides for a dripping effect. Chill.

  2. Mix the Bloody Shot:
    In a shaker with ice, combine:

    • 1 oz cherry vodka

    • 1 oz strawberry liqueur

    • 1 oz red fruit punch or cranberry juice

    • 1/2 oz of the thick red syrup

    • 1/4 tsp edible glitter

    • (Optional) A drop of red gel food coloring

    Shake well to chill and combine.

  3. Serve:
    Strain into prepared shot glasses. Add a tiny extra swirl of glitter or syrup on top for dramatic effect.
