Description

👻 Boo Berry Shots
Blue raspberry vodka with a ghostly mist swirl and shimmer.
Makes: 6–8 spooky shots

🫐 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup blue raspberry vodka (or regular vodka + blue raspberry syrup)

  • 2 tbsp blue curaçao

  • 1/4 cup lemonade or lemon-lime soda

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp simple syrup (optional, to taste)

  • Pinch of edible pearl shimmer dust (white or blue)

  • Mini swirl of whipped cream or misty foam topping

  • Dry ice chips or food-grade fog effect (optional, never consume dry ice directly)

  • White sanding sugar or crushed clear rock candy (rim)

🧊 Instructions:

  1. Rim the Glasses:
Dip the rims of your shot glasses into lemon juice, then coat with white sanding sugar or crushed clear rock candy for a frosty “ghost-glow” finish.

  2. Conjure the Mix:
In a shaker with ice, combine blue raspberry vodka, blue curaçao, lemonade (or soda), lemon juice, and shimmer dust. Shake until icy cold and lightly frothy.

  3. Create the Ghostly Mist:
Strain into your prepared glasses. If using soda, pour slowly to keep carbonation.
Add a tiny swirl of whipped cream on top or misty foam to resemble eerie fog.

  4. Optional Mist Effect:
For a dramatic ghost-mist effect, carefully place a tiny chip of food-safe dry ice into each shot (for presentation only!). Serve immediately while bubbling.

  5. Garnish (Optional):
Top with a single blueberry, silver candy pearl, or a ghost-shaped sprinkle for a final spooky touch.

🫐 Mocktail Version:

  • Use blue raspberry syrup (2 tbsp), lemonade (1/2 cup), and a splash of lemon juice

  • Add shimmer dust and top with soda water for fizz

  • Rim and garnish just the same

🎃 Serving Ideas:

  • Serve on a tray surrounded by faux spiderwebs, fog machines, or LED ghost lights

  • Use clear glassware under a blacklight for shimmer and soda to glow

  • Line glasses with tiny ghost decals or edible glitter for an extra-viral presentation
