Ingredients

1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces

1 small head green cabbage, cut into wedges

1 lb baby potatoes, halved

3 ears corn, cut into thirds (or 1 ½ cups frozen corn)

4 cups water or chicken broth

2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning

2 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, bring water or broth to a boil. Add potatoes and cook 10 min.

Add sausage, corn, and cabbage. Sprinkle with Old Bay, salt, and pepper.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10–15 min until vegetables are tender and sausage is heated through.

Stir in butter for extra flavor.

Serve hot, garnished with parsley or green onions.

You can add carrots or red potatoes for extra color and flavor.
