  • Yield: 6 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 small head green cabbage, cut into wedges

  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved

  • 3 ears corn, cut into thirds (or 1 ½ cups frozen corn)

  • 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring water or broth to a boil. Add potatoes and cook 10 min.

  • Add sausage, corn, and cabbage. Sprinkle with Old Bay, salt, and pepper.

  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10–15 min until vegetables are tender and sausage is heated through.

  • Stir in butter for extra flavor.

  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley or green onions.

Notes

  • You can add carrots or red potatoes for extra color and flavor.

  • Serve with crusty bread or over rice for a heartier meal.
