Description

Cajun Blackened Shrimp Alfredo Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice, cooked

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.

  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, then add shrimp back to the skillet. Mix well to coat.

  6. Serve warm, garnished with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
