Description

🍬 Candy Meltdown Shots

Bright candy syrups + fizzy foam = an epic candy eruption in every shot!

🧪 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):

Candy Syrup Base:

  • 1/4 cup cotton candy syrup (or bubblegum, blue raspberry, or strawberry syrup)

  • 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda (chilled, for fizz)

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka (optional for extra kick)

  • 1 tbsp grenadine or rainbow syrup (for color layering)

  • Neon food coloring (to enhance vibrancy – optional)

Fizzy Foam Top:

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or half-and-half

  • 1 tbsp lemon-lime soda or tonic water

  • 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff or whipped cream

  • Pinch of citric acid (for fizz – optional but adds fun tang!)

  • Edible glitter or shimmer dust (optional)

Candy Rim (Optional):

  • Corn syrup or honey (for sticking)

  • Rainbow sanding sugar, Pop Rocks, or crushed sour candy

🍭 Instructions:

1. Rim the Glasses (Optional but Fun):

  • Dip shot glass rims in corn syrup or honey.

  • Roll in colorful sugar, crushed candy, or Pop Rocks for extra crackle.

2. Prepare the Candy Base:

  • In a shaker or small pitcher, mix candy syrup, lemon-lime soda, vodka, and a drop or two of neon food coloring.

  • Pour a little grenadine gently into the bottom of each shot glass for a layered “meltdown” effect.

  • Slowly pour the bright candy mixture on top.

3. Make the Fizzy Foam:

  • In a small bowl, whisk cream, soda, and marshmallow fluff until light and frothy.

  • Add a small pinch of citric acid to make it fizz when it hits the shot (optional but awesome!).

  • Spoon the foam on top of each shot, letting it melt slowly into the syrup blend.

4. Finish & Serve:

  • Sprinkle with edible glitter or shimmer for a magical effect.

  • Serve immediately while the foam is fresh and fizzing.
