🕷️🍬 Candy Venom Shots

Sour candy vodka with red glow syrup

Ingredients

For the Sour Candy Vodka:

• 1 cup plain vodka

• 1/2 cup sour candies (Sour Patch Kids, Warheads, sour belts, etc.)

For the Red Glow Syrup:

• 1/2 cup corn syrup or simple syrup

• 1 tbsp grenadine or red food coloring

• 1 tbsp tonic water (for glowing effect under blacklight – optional)

• (Optional) 1/2 tsp cherry extract

For Assembly:

• Strained sour candy vodka (chilled)

• Red glow syrup

• Shot glasses

Optional Garnishes:

• Sour sugar for rim

• Gummy worms or fangs

• Pop rocks

• Candy syringes

Instructions

1. Infuse the Vodka:

1. Add sour candies to a clean jar.

2. Pour vodka over the candies until fully covered.

3. Seal and let sit 3–6 hours, shaking occasionally.

4. Strain out candy pieces and chill the vodka.

2. Make the Red Glow Syrup:

1. In a saucepan, combine corn syrup and grenadine or red food coloring.

2. Stir in tonic water (optional for glow effect).

3. Simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes until slightly thick.

4. Let cool and transfer to a squeeze bottle.

3. Assemble the Shots:

1. Add 1 tsp of red glow syrup to each shot glass.

2. Slowly pour sour candy vodka over the back of a spoon to layer it on top.

3. Garnish as desired with gummy worms, pop rocks, or candy rims.
