2 large firm pears, cored and cut into wedges

Instructions

In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the pear wedges in a single layer and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden and caramelized.

Reduce heat slightly, add sliced onion, honey, a pinch of salt, and some fresh black pepper. Stir and cook for another 3 minutes until onions soften and caramelize.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
