🧪 Cauldron Kiss Shots
Blackberry and lime layered in a smoky glow—mysterious, sweet, and wickedly smooth.
Makes: 6–8 enchanting shots
🍇 Ingredients:
-
1/2 cup blackberry liqueur (like Chambord or crème de mûre)
-
1/4 cup vodka (plain or black vodka for deeper color)
-
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
-
1 tbsp simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
-
1/4 cup tonic water (for glow effect under blacklight)
-
Pinch of edible shimmer dust (silver, purple, or deep green)
-
Crushed ice or clear ice spheres
-
Dry ice chips (optional, for fog—never ingest)
-
Black or purple sugar (rim)
-
Blackberry or lime wedge (garnish)
🕯️ Instructions:
-
Rim the Glasses:
Dip shot glass rims in lime juice, then into black or purple sanding sugar for a wicked edge. -
Brew the Blackberry Base:
In a shaker with ice, combine blackberry liqueur, vodka, simple syrup, and shimmer dust. Shake until chilled and velvety. -
Prepare the Lime Glow:
In a small glass or mixing cup, mix tonic water with lime juice separately—this layer glows subtly under UV light and balances the sweetness. -
Assemble the Layers:
Fill each shot glass halfway with the blackberry-vodka mixture. Gently pour the lime-tonic mixture over the back of a spoon to layer it on top. You’ll get a swirling, mystical look with shimmer fog. -
Optional Fog Effect:
For presentation, add a tiny piece of food-grade dry ice to each shot for a bubbling cauldron effect. Serve immediately and caution guests not to drink until fog disappears. -
Garnish:
Add a fresh blackberry or a thin lime wedge on the rim, or float an edible flower for extra drama.
🧃 Mocktail Version:
-
1/4 cup blackberry juice or syrup
-
1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
-
1 tbsp lime juice
-
Shimmer dust and dry ice presentation
-
Serve chilled and layered the same way

Serve on a black slate tray surrounded by faux potion bottles and bubbling mist
