Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread
Ingredients
-
1 large crusty loaf (sourdough or French bread works best)
-
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
-
½ cup shredded cheddar (optional for extra color)
-
½ cup grated Parmesan
-
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
-
4–5 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Bread
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Using a sharp knife, cut the bread in a crosshatch pattern — slice 1″ apart in both directions, making sure not to cut all the way through.
2. Make the Garlic Butter
-
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Stuff the Bread
-
Carefully open each cut and drizzle the garlic butter into all the crevices.
-
Stuff mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan evenly throughout the sliced sections.
4. Bake
-
Wrap the entire loaf loosely in foil.
-
Bake for 15 minutes.
-
Unwrap and bake another 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and the top is golden.
