Cheesy Smothered Meatballs
Ingredients:

1½ lbs ground beef

½ cup breadcrumbs
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 large egg
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 cups marinara sauce
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:

Make the Meatballs:

In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.

Form into 1½-inch meatballs.

Cook the Meatballs:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Brown meatballs on all sides, about 5–6 minutes.

Smother in Sauce:
-
Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until meatballs are cooked through.

Add Cheese:

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs.

Cover and cook another 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over pasta, rice, or with garlic bread.
