🍒 Cherry Gum Drop Shots – Red Cherry and Candy Foam

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shot Mix:

• 1 oz cherry vodka

• 1 oz grenadine

• ½ oz triple sec (optional, for depth)

• 1 oz lemon-lime soda or cherry soda (for fizz)

• ½ oz simple syrup (if you like it extra sweet)

• Red food coloring (optional for bold color)

• Ice (for shaking)

For the Candy Foam:

• ¼ cup marshmallow fluff or whipped topping

• 1 tsp cherry syrup or grenadine

• 1–2 drops red food coloring (optional)

For the Rim:

• Corn syrup (to stick candy)

• Crushed red gumdrops or red sanding sugar

Optional Garnish:

• Mini gumdrops on cocktail picks

• Whipped cream

• Red candy sprinkles

🧁 Directions

1. Prepare the Candy Foam:

In a small bowl, mix the marshmallow fluff or whipped topping with cherry syrup and a drop of red food coloring. Whip lightly until airy and smooth. Set aside.

2. Rim the Shot Glasses:

Dip rims of shot glasses in corn syrup, then roll in crushed red gumdrops or red sanding sugar. Set aside.

3. Mix the Shots:

In a shaker filled with ice, combine:

• Cherry vodka

• Grenadine

• Triple sec (if using)

• Lemon-lime soda

• Simple syrup

• A few drops of red food coloring (optional)

Shake gently—don’t overdo it to keep the soda fizz.

4. Pour and Top:

Strain into the rimmed shot glasses.
Spoon or pipe a fluffy layer of cherry candy foam on top of each shot.
