Chicken Parmesan Stuffed with Cream Cheese
Ingredients:

4 large chicken breasts

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt and black pepper to taste

1½ cups marinara sauce
-
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
-
2 eggs, beaten
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
Extra mozzarella & Parmesan for topping

Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice a pocket into each chicken breast, keeping the opposite side intact.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Fill each chicken pocket generously with the cheese mixture. Secure edges with toothpicks if needed.

Dip stuffed chicken in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden.

Place chicken in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the top.

Sprinkle extra mozzarella and Parmesan on each piece.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through and cheese is bubbly.

Garnish with basil and serve hot.
