Description

🥢 Copycat Chili’s Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients (4–6 servings):

For the ribs:

  • 2 racks baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

For the glaze / sauce:

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Pinch of cayenne (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.

  2. Prep ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub ribs with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

  3. Bake ribs: Wrap ribs tightly in foil and bake 2–2 ½ hours until tender.

  4. Make glaze: While ribs bake, combine all glaze ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer 5–10 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. Glaze & broil: Remove ribs from oven, discard top foil. Brush ribs generously with glaze. Broil or grill 5–10 minutes until caramelized and sticky, watching carefully to avoid burning.

  6. Serve: Slice between bones and serve with extra glaze on the side.
