Description

Cosmic Beam Shots

Blue raspberry, UV-reactive citrus, and starlight shimmer — like sipping a laser.

🌌 Ingredients (makes 10–12 shots):

  • 1/2 cup blue raspberry vodka (or substitute with raspberry vodka + blue curaçao)

  • 1/4 cup UV Blue (glows under blacklight!)

  • 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda or tonic water (tonic glows blue under blacklight)

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • 1 tbsp blue curaçao (adds color + orange-citrus flavor)

  • 1 tsp edible shimmer dust (silver or pearl – for the starlight glow)

  • Optional: dash of sour mix for a tangy laser bite

  • Blue or neon food coloring (optional for intensity)

⚡ Rim & Garnish (Optional but Epic):

  • Citrus wedge + electric blue sugar for the rim

  • Edible glitter stars or tiny rock candy shards for garnish

🚀 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Shot Glasses:
Run a lime wedge around the rim, then dip into electric blue sanding sugar. Let set.

  2. Mix the Beam:
In a shaker with ice, combine:

    • Blue raspberry vodka

    • UV Blue

    • Lemon-lime soda or tonic water

    • Lime juice

    • Blue curaçao

    • Sour mix (if using)

    • Edible shimmer

    • A drop of blue food coloring (optional)

  3. Shake until icy cold.

  4. Strain into shot glasses.
Watch them shimmer and glow — especially under blacklight.

🌠 Tips for Maximum Cosmic Vibes:

  • Tonic water gives that eerie blue glow under UV light.

  • Serve with blacklight and galaxy-themed decor for full immersion.

  • Add a layered effect by pouring over the back of a spoon with a bit of blue curaçao on top.
