Cotton Candy Colada (Cocktail or Mocktail)
A sweet and fluffy frozen dream! This pastel-colored colada blends creamy coconut, fruity pineapple, and a whimsical cotton candy cloud for a fun, fairytale-worthy treat. Ideal for summer parties, baby showers, or just sipping under the sun.


🌴 Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Malibu rum (or sub with coconut milk for a mocktail)

  • 2 oz cream of coconut

  • 1 oz pineapple juice

  • 1½ cups crushed ice

  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

  • A few drops of pink and blue food coloring (to swirl or layer colors)

  • Blue cotton candy, for topping

  • Whipped cream (optional)


🧊 Instructions:

  1. Blend the base:
    In a blender, combine the Malibu rum (or coconut milk), cream of coconut, pineapple juice, crushed ice, and vanilla ice cream (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Color magic:
    Divide the blended mixture into two bowls. Tint one with a drop or two of pink food coloring, and the other with blue. Stir gently to blend the color — a little goes a long way!

  3. Layer it up:
    Pour the pink layer into a chilled glass first. Carefully spoon or pour the blue layer on top for a soft ombré or swirled effect.

  4. Top it off:
    Add a generous puff of blue cotton candy on top of the drink right before serving. Optional: add a swirl of whipped cream beneath the cotton candy for extra drama.

  5. Serve immediately:
    Add a pastel straw or umbrella and serve before the cotton candy melts into the drink.
