Cotton Slush Shots

Whipped vodka and blue cotton candy syrup blended into a sweet frozen treat
💙 Makes 6–8 icy shots

🧁 Ingredients:

For the Slush Shots:

  • 2 oz whipped cream vodka (or vanilla vodka)

  • 1½ oz blue cotton candy syrup (like Torani or homemade)

  • 1 oz cream or half & half (for creamy slush texture)

  • 1 cup ice

  • Optional: ½ oz lemon juice (to balance sweetness)

  • Optional: A pinch of edible shimmer or glitter

For Garnish:

  • Whipped cream (optional)

  • Mini tufts of cotton candy

  • Blue sanding sugar or glitter sugar (rim)

  • Cotton candy lollipop or candy stick (optional)

❄️ Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glasses:

    • Rim shot glasses with a little syrup or honey, then dip in blue sanding sugar or edible glitter.

    • Chill the glasses in the freezer while you make the slush.

  2. Blend the Slush:

    • In a blender, combine vodka, cotton candy syrup, cream, and ice.

    • Blend until thick and slushy. Add more ice for thicker texture or more syrup for extra sweetness.

    • Optional: Add a pinch of shimmer for sparkle.

  3. Serve & Garnish:

    • Pour or spoon the slush into the chilled shot glasses.

    • Top with a swirl of whipped cream, a sprinkle of glitter sugar, and a small puff of cotton candy.

    • Serve immediately before the cotton candy melts!

🎠 Tips & Variations:

  • No cotton candy syrup? Dissolve a small tuft of real cotton candy in hot water and cool before blending.

  • For a non-alcoholic version, blend cream soda, cotton candy syrup, and ice.

  • Make it pink & blue: Split the mix and add a drop of pink food coloring to half, then swirl together.
