Creamy Cajun Chicken and Bacon Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook Pasta:

    • Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook Chicken:

    • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

    • Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Add chicken and Cajun seasoning, cooking until chicken is heated through and coated with seasoning.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and let simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

    • Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

  4. Combine:

    • Add cooked pasta and bacon to the skillet. Toss everything until well coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
