Creamy Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Pasta
Ingredients:

8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 oz smoked sausage, sliced

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)

2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook Pasta:

Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cook Shrimp and Sausage:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and sauté for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add sausage slices and brown for 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

Add butter and garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.

Combine Everything:

Return shrimp and sausage to the skillet.

Add cooked pasta and toss well to coat.

Simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens.

Serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
