Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken with Pasta
Ingredients:

12 oz pasta of choice (fettuccine or penne works great)

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
8 oz mushrooms, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
-
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Season both sides of the chicken with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and slice or leave whole.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook until browned.

Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Add Parmesan cheese and stir until sauce becomes creamy and smooth.

Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.

Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat or serve chicken right on top.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
