Creamy Garlic Shrimp Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients
For the Shrimp

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp black pepper
For the Alfredo Sauce
-
3 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 ½ cups heavy cream
-
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp Italian seasoning
-
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste
For the Pasta
-
8 oz fettuccine or linguine
-
2 tbsp pasta water (optional, for thinning)
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta

Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions.

Reserve a little pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. Season & Sear the Shrimp

Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink.

Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Creamy Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Let the sauce thicken for 3–5 minutes, stirring often.
4. Combine Everything

Add cooked pasta into the creamy sauce.

Add shrimp back to the skillet.
-
Toss everything together until coated and silky.

Add a splash of pasta water if you want it creamier.
5. Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
