Creamy Mushroom Pork Chops
Ingredients:

4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter
-
8 oz mushrooms, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup chicken broth
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tsp dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:

Season and Sear:

Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Cook Mushrooms:

In the same skillet, add butter.

Add mushrooms and sauté until tender and browned, about 5 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

Make the Cream Sauce:

Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up browned bits from the pan.

Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and thyme. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.

Combine and Simmer:

Return pork chops to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer on low for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked and the sauce is creamy.

Serve:

Garnish with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
