Description
🍝 Creamy Steak Fettuccine
Ingredients (4 servings):
-
8 oz fettuccine pasta
-
1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 small onion, finely chopped
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup beef broth
-
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
-
2 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt & freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
-
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
-
Cook pasta: Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
-
Cook steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices 2–3 minutes per side until browned but still tender. Remove and set aside.
-
Make sauce: In the same skillet, add butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant and soft, 2–3 minutes.
-
Add liquids: Stir in heavy cream, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Combine: Add cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
-
Serve: Garnish with parsley or basil and extra Parmesan if desired.
