Description

🍝 Creamy Steak Fettuccine

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup beef broth

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta: Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

  2. Cook steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices 2–3 minutes per side until browned but still tender. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make sauce: In the same skillet, add butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant and soft, 2–3 minutes.

  4. Add liquids: Stir in heavy cream, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. Combine: Add cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.

  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley or basil and extra Parmesan if desired.
