Crock Pot Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

  • Author: Stephanie

Description

 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (or raw chicken breasts, diced)

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow)

  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)

 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot:
If using raw chicken, place it in the Crock Pot first.

  2. Mix the creamy sauce:
In a bowl, combine ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, heavy cream, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.

  3. Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours (or HIGH 2–3 hours) until chicken is tender.

  4. Add pasta and cheese:
About 30 minutes before serving, stir in uncooked pasta, cheddar, Parmesan, and crumbled bacon.
Cover and cook until pasta is tender and sauce is creamy.

  5. Serve:
Garnish with chopped green onions and extra cheese, if desired.
