Ingredients

  • 12 frozen or fresh dumplings (pork, chicken, or veggie)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced

  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  • Arrange dumplings in a single layer in the dish.

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the dumplings, tossing gently to coat.

  • Bake 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until dumplings are golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought dumplings to save time.

  • Add a squeeze of lime or drizzle of hoisin sauce for extra flavor.

  • Great served with steamed vegetables or a simple salad.
