Easy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, or bowtie)

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. In the last 2–3 minutes, add broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and set aside.

  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until slightly thickened.

  5. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the cooked pasta and broccoli. Stir to coat everything in the creamy sauce.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired.
