Description
Easy Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Ingredients (4 servings)
-
4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
-
2 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
¼ cup honey
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
-
Chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Season chops:
Pat pork chops dry, then season both sides with salt and pepper. -
Sear:
Heat olive oil (or butter) in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (145°F / 63°C internal temp). Remove to a plate. -
Make the sauce:
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened. -
Glaze:
Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Let them simmer in the sauce for 1–2 minutes so they’re nicely coated. -
Serve:
Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
