Eyeball Elixir Shots

Description

👁️‍🗨️ Eyeball Elixir Shots
Blueberry and glow tonic swirled with shimmer and topped with a candy eyeball.
Makes: 6–8 eerie shots

🧃 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup blueberry vodka (or blueberry schnapps)

  • 1/4 cup tonic water (for glow under blacklight)

  • 2 tbsp blue curaçao (or blue raspberry syrup for mocktail)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp simple syrup (optional)

  • Pinch of edible shimmer dust (silver, blue, or violet)

  • Candy eyeballs (large ones that float or gummy style)

  • Blue or black sugar (rim)

  • Corn syrup (to help sugar stick to rim)

⚗️ Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rim:
Lightly dip the rims of your shot glasses into corn syrup, then into blue or black sanding sugar for a spooky edge.

  2. Mix the Elixir:
In a cocktail shaker with ice, add blueberry vodka, blue curaçao, lemon juice, simple syrup, and a pinch of shimmer dust. Shake well until chilled and glowing with sparkle.

  3. Add the Glow:
Top with tonic water after shaking to preserve the fizz and glow. Gently stir to combine—don’t shake with tonic!

  4. Serve & Spook:
Pour the elixir into rimmed glasses. Carefully place one candy eyeball in the center of each shot. It will float or sink creepily, depending on size—either way, it stares back.

🧛‍♂️ Mocktail Version:

  • Replace vodka with blueberry juice (or blue sports drink)

  • Use blue raspberry syrup or Kool-Aid in place of curaçao

  • Still use tonic water for that eerie glow

  • Add shimmer and candy eyeball exactly the same!

🎃 Serving Ideas:

  • Present on a silver tray surrounded by LED tealights or dry ice fog.

  • Add glow-in-the-dark shot glasses or serve under blacklight for full glowing effect.

  • Bonus: Drop in a small syringe of red grenadine to mimic “eyeball bleeding” for the brave ones!
