Description

Garlic Butter Pork Chops with Creamy Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Sear the Pork Chops:

    • Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

    • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

  2. Cook the Potatoes:

    • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and the halved potatoes.

    • Cook for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften and brown.

  3. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

    • Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

    • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese.

    • Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. Combine Everything:

    • Return pork chops to the skillet. Spoon sauce over them.

    • Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes, until pork chops are cooked through and potatoes are tender.

  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm with the creamy garlic potatoes.
