-
1 lb (450g) broccoli florets

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Juice of 1/2 lemon plus lemon slices for garnish

Salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste

1/4 cup vegetable or beef stock
-
1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
-
1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley

When water evaporates, add 2 tablespoons butter, half the garlic, and red chili flakes if using. Cook sausages until browned in garlic butter sauce. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over low heat. Add parsley, thyme, remaining garlic, Italian seasoning, blanched broccoli, and cook 4-5 minutes, stirring regularly.

Deglaze with lemon juice, stock, and hot sauce if using. Reduce sauce for a few minutes.
-
Return sausages to the skillet, reheat quickly, and spoon sauce over. Adjust seasoning and serve garnished with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
