Description
Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce
Ingredients for Steak Bites
-
1 to 1 1/4 pounds steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak), cut into bite-sized pieces
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
-
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
-
6 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
Ingredients for Parmesan Cream Sauce
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Steak Bites: Season steak pieces with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add steak bites and sear, turning occasionally, for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides (adjust for desired doneness). Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
-
Make Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Prepare Parmesan Cream Sauce: Pour heavy cream into the skillet with garlic butter and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Cook and stir until cheese is melted and sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Combine and Serve: Return steak bites to the skillet and toss quickly to coat in the Parmesan cream sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
