Garlic Herb Sausage Bites with Parmesan Cream
Ingredients
Sausage Bites:

1 lb Italian sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1½ tablespoons fresh sage leaves, roughly chopped

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Parmesan Cream Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter
-
1½ cups heavy cream
-
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Prepare Sausage Bites:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat

Add sliced sausage and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-8 minutes

Remove sausage from skillet and set aside
Make Garlic Herb Butter:
4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat
5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
6. Add fresh sage and Italian seasoning, cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute
7. Return sausage to skillet and toss to coat with garlic herb butter
8. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside
Create Parmesan Cream Sauce:
9. In a separate saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat
10. Add heavy cream and garlic powder, stirring until mixture begins to simmer gently
11. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy
12. Add black pepper, red pepper flakes if using, and lemon juice
13. Season with salt to taste
Final Assembly:
14. Pour the warm Parmesan cream sauce over the garlic herb sausage bites
15. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese
16. Serve immediately while hot
