Garlic Parmesan Knots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh, chopped)

  • Salt, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

    • Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 1-inch strips.

    • Tie each strip into a knot and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  2. Bake the Knots:

    • Bake knots for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. Make Garlic Butter:

    • While knots bake, melt butter and mix in minced garlic, Parmesan, parsley, and a pinch of salt.

  4. Coat the Knots:

    • Brush the garlic-parmesan butter over hot knots as soon as they come out of the oven.

    • Toss lightly to coat evenly.

  5. Serve:

    • Serve warm as a snack, appetizer, or alongside pasta or soup.

    • Optional: sprinkle extra Parmesan or chopped parsley on top for garnish.
