👻 Ghoul Gush Shots 👻
A gushing blend of juicy raspberry and citrusy tonic water, pulsing with eerie glow-in-the-dark syrup—perfect for your next haunted bash or graveyard rave.
🧪 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):
Glowing Raspberry Base:
-
1 oz raspberry vodka (or plain vodka + 1 tbsp raspberry syrup)
-
1 oz tonic water (for UV glow)
-
1/2 oz fresh lime juice (enhances glow and sharpens flavor)
-
1 tbsp grenadine (for deep red “gush”)
-
Optional: 1–2 drops purple or neon pink food coloring
-
1/4 tsp edible shimmer dust (purple, red, or pearl for a ghostly swirl)
Glow-In-The-Dark Syrup (Drizzle):
-
2 tbsp tonic water
-
1 tbsp sugar syrup
-
1–2 drops neon green or blue food coloring
-
Tiny pinch of edible shimmer dust
-
Mix together and chill—glows under blacklight
💡 Why It Glows:
Tonic water contains quinine, which fluoresces bright blue/white under UV blacklight. Combined with bright food coloring and shimmer dust, it creates a stunning effect.
🦴 Instructions:
-
Prepare the Glasses:
-
Chill your shot glasses for 10–15 minutes.
-
Optionally, rim with crushed red candy or sanding sugar for a “blood-soaked” effect.
-
-
Make the Ghoul Gush:
-
In a shaker with ice, combine raspberry vodka, tonic water, lime juice, grenadine, shimmer dust, and food coloring.
-
Shake well until cold and eerie.
-
-
Drizzle the Glow Syrup:
-
Pour a few drops of the glow-in-the-dark syrup down the inside of each chilled glass before pouring the shot.
-
This creates dripping, glowing “gush” trails inside the glass.
-
-
Pour and Finish:
-
Strain your shaken mix into the prepared shot glasses.
-
Top with a tiny drizzle more of the glowing syrup for maximum blacklight effect.
-
🕷️ Presentation Tips:
-
Serve under blacklight to activate the glowing elements.
-
Use clear or neon plastic shot glasses for better glow visibility.
-
Pair with dry ice fog or eerie sound effects for a full haunted experience.
