Description

🧸🍬 Gummy Flood Shots – Candy Vodka Layered with Gummy Bear Rain

Vibrant, fruity, and irresistibly nostalgic, these shots bring a whimsical flood of sweet candy vodka and chewy gummy bears “raining” through the glass. Each sip is a mix of smooth, candy-spiked vodka and chewy surprise textures. Perfect for candy-themed parties or just unleashing your inner child.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

Candy Vodka Layer

  • 3 oz whipped cream vodka (or vanilla vodka)

  • 1 oz watermelon schnapps (or strawberry liqueur for pink color)

  • 1 oz pineapple juice

  • 1 tsp simple syrup (optional for extra sweetness)

Gummy Rain Layer

  • ½ oz blue curaçao (for rain color)

  • ½ oz lemon-lime soda (like Sprite)

  • ½ tsp edible shimmer dust (optional)

  • 12–16 mini gummy bears

Optional Garnish

  • Gummy bear skewers

  • Rainbow sugar rim

  • Sour belt “umbrellas” on top

🧊 Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Glasses
Chill your shot glasses, then optionally rim with lemon juice and dip in rainbow sugar for extra pop.

  2. Make the Candy Vodka Base
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine whipped vodka, watermelon schnapps, pineapple juice, and simple syrup. Shake well until icy cold.
➤ Pour into each shot glass, filling about ¾ full.

  3. Create the Gummy Rain Layer
In a small cup, gently mix blue curaçao and lemon-lime soda. Add shimmer dust if using for magical rain effect.
➤ Carefully float this on top of the vodka layer using the back of a spoon for a light “rain” blue over candy pink.

  4. Drop the Gummy Rain
Add 2–3 mini gummy bears into each shot. They’ll slowly sink and float at different levels, giving the look of gummy rain flooding the shot.

  5. Garnish and Serve
Skewer a few gummy bears on a cocktail pick and balance it on top of the glass. Optional: add a sour candy “umbrella” for extra flair.
