🍬 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):
Gummy Vodka Layer:
-
1/2 cup vodka
-
1/4 cup gummy bears or gummy worms
-
Optional: 1 tsp sugar (for extra sweetness)
-
Food coloring (matching your gummy color – pink, red, orange, or green)
Glow Layer:
-
1/4 cup tonic water (must contain quinine for UV glow)
-
1/4 cup lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7UP)
-
1 tbsp simple syrup (adjust to taste)
-
Neon food coloring (blue or green works best for glow)
Swirl Topper:
-
1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
-
Neon gel food coloring (any color you like)
🍭 Candy Rim (Optional):
-
Corn syrup (for sticking)
-
Crushed gummy candies, sanding sugar, or pop rocks
🧪 Instructions:
1. Infuse the Vodka:
-
Place gummies in a small jar.
-
Pour in vodka and let them soak for 12–24 hours until fully infused and slightly dissolved.
-
Strain out remaining pieces (or keep a few for garnish).
-
Add food coloring to boost vibrancy if needed.
2. Prep Candy Rims (Optional):
-
Dip shot glasses in corn syrup.
-
Roll rims in crushed gummies or colored sugar. Let set.
3. Make the Glow Layer:
-
In a shaker, combine tonic water, lemon-lime soda, simple syrup, and neon food coloring.
-
Stir gently and chill until ready.
4. Layer the Shots:
-
Fill each shot glass halfway with gummy vodka layer.
-
Slowly pour glow layer over the back of a spoon to float it above (use a steady hand!).
5. Add the Swirl Topper:
-
Mix sweetened condensed milk with a drop of neon gel coloring.
-
Drizzle gently on top using a small spoon or squeeze bottle in a swirl motion.
✨ Tips:
-
UV glow effect: These shots will glow under a blacklight thanks to the quinine in tonic water.
-
Chill before serving for best texture and flavor.
-
Garnish with mini gummies on toothpicks or float inside for added flair.
