Description

🍏✨ Hex Pop Shots – Candy Apple Fizz with Crackling Candy Top

These shots are like a magic spell in a glass—bright green apple flavor, fizzy pop, and a crackling candy crown that snaps, fizzes, and sizzles. They’re perfect for spooky parties, neon nights, or anyone who loves a twist of mischief in their drink.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shot Mix:

  • 1 oz sour apple schnapps or green apple vodka

  • ½ oz grenadine (for apple-candy depth)

  • 1 oz lemon-lime soda or tonic water (for fizz)

  • ¼ oz simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • 1–2 drops green food coloring (for that eerie glow)

  • ⅛ tsp edible shimmer or glitter dust (green, gold, or silver)

  • Ice (for shaking)

For the Crackling Candy Top:

  • 2–3 tbsp green apple Pop Rocks or other crackling candy

  • Light corn syrup or honey (for garnish adhesion)

For the Rim:

  • Corn syrup

  • Crushed sour candy or green sugar crystals

Optional Garnish:

  • Gummy eyeballs, worms, or candy shards

  • A tiny puff of cotton candy “smoke”

🧪 Directions

1. Prep the Rims:

Dip the rims of shot glasses in corn syrup, then roll in crushed sour candy or green sugar crystals. Set aside.

2. Mix the Shots:

In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine:

  • Green apple schnapps or vodka

  • Grenadine

  • Lemon-lime soda or tonic

  • Simple syrup (if using)

  • Food coloring

  • Edible shimmer

Shake gently—just enough to chill and swirl.

3. Pour and Top:

Strain into rimmed shot glasses.

Right before serving, sprinkle Pop Rocks generously over the top of each shot—do not do this too early or they’ll fizzle out!

4. Add Optional Garnish:

Top with a gummy eyeball, mini candy shard, or cotton candy “fog.”
