Honey Butter Garlic Shrimp Skillet
Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper. -
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice (if using). Set aside. -
Cook the Shrimp

Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until just pink.

Remove shrimp and set aside.

Make the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce

Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter to the skillet.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Pour in the honey-soy mixture. Stir and simmer 1–2 minutes, until the sauce slightly thickens and turns glossy.

Coat the Shrimp

Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.

Cook for another 1–2 minutes, letting the shrimp soak up the honey butter garlic glaze.

Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
