Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts
Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup honey
-
3 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar

1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

1 tablespoon water (optional, for cornstarch slurry)

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
🔪 Instructions
1. Prep the Chicken

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Cook the Chicken

Add chicken breasts and cook 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).

Remove chicken and set aside.
3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter.

Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar.

Optional: For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir into sauce, simmering until thickened (~1–2 minutes).
4. Coat the Chicken

Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over each breast.

Cook 1–2 minutes more to glaze the chicken evenly.
