2 tbsp olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup honey
-
3 tbsp soy sauce

2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine)

Instructions
-
Prep the Salmon:
Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. -
Cook the Salmon:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down (if skin-on) for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until salmon is cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside. -
Make the Honey Garlic Glaze:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer 1–2 minutes until thickened slightly. -
Glaze the Salmon:
Return salmon to the skillet and spoon glaze over each fillet, coating evenly. -
Assemble the Rice Bowl:
Divide cooked rice among bowls, top with glazed salmon and your choice of steamed or roasted vegetables. Drizzle with extra glaze from the pan. -
Garnish:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
