Description

Honey Mustard Salmon in Foil

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs (about 4 fillets) salmon, skin-on or skinless

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard (optional for texture)

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Lemon slices, for serving

🔪 Instructions

1. Prepare the Foil Packet

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly brush with olive oil.

  3. Place salmon fillet(s) in the center and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Make the Honey Mustard Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and paprika.

  2. Pour the mixture evenly over the salmon, coating the top well.

3. Seal and Bake

  1. Fold the foil over the salmon and crimp edges to seal tightly, forming a packet.

  2. Bake for 15–18 minutes (depending on thickness).

  3. Open the foil, spoon the sauce over the top, and broil for 2–3 minutes until caramelized and golden.

4. Serve and Garnish

  1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and add lemon slices on the side.

  2. Spoon the extra sauce from the foil over the salmon when serving for a glossy, mouthwatering finish.
