Description

Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split at joints, tips removed

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (for extra crispiness)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

For the Honey Sriracha Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 3 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

For Garnish:

  • Sesame seeds

  • Green onions, sliced

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top (this helps the wings stay crispy).

2. Prepare the Wings:

Pat wings completely dry with paper towels — this step is key for crispiness!
In a large bowl, toss them with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.

3. Bake the Wings:

Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

(For extra crunch, broil the wings for 2–3 minutes at the end.)

4. Make the Honey Sriracha Sauce:

While wings bake, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and butter in a small saucepan.
Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring until slightly thickened.

5. Toss and Serve:

Transfer hot wings to a large bowl. Pour the warm Honey Sriracha sauce over them and toss until evenly coated.

Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
