🧃 Instructions
1. Prepare the Glasses
Run a lime wedge around the rims of shot glasses.
Dip into a mix of Tajín and sugar or chili powder and gold sanding sugar for a spicy-sweet kick.
2. Mix the Shot
In a shaker with ice, combine:
-
Blue raspberry vodka
-
Blue curaçao
-
Mango juice
-
Lime juice
-
Mango-chili syrup or chili honey
-
Optional: a small pinch of cayenne for real fire
Shake well until chilled and slightly frothy.
3. Pour and Serve
Strain into prepared shot glasses. The result should be a vivid blue lagoon base with a hint of golden mango swirl and subtle heat.
Optional: drizzle a thin line of mango syrup down the inside of the glass for a lava-like look.
🌟 Bonus Tips:
-
For a glowing version: swap in tonic water for part of the mango juice and serve under blacklight.
-
Add a drop of coconut cream for a swirling, cloudy lagoon effect.
-
For a flaming version, float a tiny bit of overproof rum and ignite briefly before serving (trained hands only).
🧊 Non-Alcoholic Version:
-
1 oz blue raspberry syrup
-
2 oz mango juice
-
1 oz limeade
-
1/2 tsp chili honey
Shake with ice and serve in Tajín-rimmed shot glasses.
