🔥🍊 Lava Light Shots

Flavor Profile: Zesty citrus and tart fruit with a fiery edge — layered in vibrant lava-like red and orange, with a glowing shimmer that heats up the night.

🌋 Ingredients (Makes 4 shots)

• 1.5 oz (45 ml) blood orange vodka (or citrus vodka)

• 1 oz (30 ml) red citrus liqueur (like Aperol, Campari, or red orange syrup for color)

• 0.5 oz (15 ml) lemon juice or sour mix

• 1/4 tsp edible red or gold shimmer dust

• Optional: dash of cinnamon liqueur (like Fireball) for heat

• Ice (for shaking)

⚡ Instructions

1. Prepare Glasses:
   Chill 4 shot glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes.

2. Mix the Lava Base:
   In a shaker, add:

   • Blood orange vodka

   • Lemon juice or sour mix

   • Ice

   Shake well and set aside.

3. Layer the Lava:

   • Pour red citrus liqueur into the bottom of each shot glass (creates the glowing red “lava base”).

   • Slowly strain the shaken citrus mix over the back of a spoon into each glass to float it above the red layer.

   • Sprinkle in the shimmer dust — watch it swirl like molten light.

4. Optional Heat Kick:
   Add a few drops of Fireball or cinnamon schnapps to the top for a spicy flash finish.
