Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 4 large bell peppers, halved and seeded

  • 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

  • Optional: hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook steak slices until browned, then remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion, green bell pepper, and garlic until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

  4. Stir steak back into the skillet with the vegetables.

  5. Spoon the mixture into the halved bell peppers and top with shredded cheese.

  6. Place stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes until the peppers are tender and cheese is melted.

  7. Serve warm, optionally drizzling with hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce.
